- It's just a feeling I have that it would be fun to get together, talk a bit about the past and may be do something together. But then it has to be something special.

Bjorn at Christmas

“It is important to me that Santa comes, and that the children experience the delight that I remember from childhood.

“Although today the story of Jesus is just a myth to me and Jesus himself is just a mythical figure.”

Quote D'Jour - My Very Best – Promo folder.

Time flies as we all know
It Still feels like yesterday that I walked down the steps into the Phillips Studio for my very first recording sessions. I was nervous, full of expectation with my mind crammed with songs, lyrics and melodies – I had so much inside of me, so much energy.
Music has been a constant theme throughout my life, from when I was just five years old and began with small compositions and lyrics, on through my teenage years with dance bands and amusement park tours, then on to the whole ABBA period with “The Winner Takes It All” being a personal favourite, before culminating with my many solo albums.
I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to work with my hobby, to do what I love.
To all my loyal fans around the world, to all my fantastic friends and my wonderful family – This is for you! I hope this compilation can be a souvenir to treasure in years to come.
Thank you for being there, I love you all.

Quote D'Jour

''My career in Germany was short. When I met with the executives, the material they gave me I felt awful, They suggested me music that I not like singing at all, but I did. In the end, I released several singles in German, but after a few months my romance with Dieter ended, and I felt really bad, so I decided to go back to Stockholm to continue my career.''

Quote D'Jour

"Discussing all of our singles was great fun. There are many fond memories - memories about writing the songs, recording and promoting and performing them."

Björn added, "We're all curious and excited to see which songs appear where in the countdown. The British people took us to their hearts, completely... and made us their own, which we are very proud of. It's very nice to come to England because it's like going home."

Quote D'Jour

“
“I can spot empty flattery and know exactly where I stand. In the end, it’s really only my own approval or disapproval that means anything.”

"I think it's dead fun being onstage. That's where I experience the happiest moments of my life. When I stand there I'm completely naked and open.
I turn myself inside out and have nothing against exposing myself.
I feel secure because I enjoy what I'm doing.

Quote D'Jour - Agnetha

Happiness is a choice that I can do anytime, anywhere. My thoughts are what make me feel happy or unhappy, not my circumstances. Be able to change yourself and the world will change with you.
Remember that the only thing you can control in the world are your thoughts ...

Quote D'Jour - Agnetha

''Live a life of celebrity in a world of luxury, is where I found most of my life, for me no it is a vital necessity. I like it, but I can live without .''

Quote D'Jour - Bjorn 1979

For us, the U.S. is primarily a challenge. The whole journey for us is a great challenge. Tonight, the audience was great and everything went smoothly. But it was a very strange feeling when we have not toured in 2 1/2 years. You do not have confidence in yourself as most of the artists who have to travel much and do not know until you're up there to reach the audience face to face, if it works or not ... "

Quote D'Jour - Agnetha 2012

"Tell me, what is his personal thoughts on what Siv and Marianne did for artists in Sweden?"

AGNETHA: "They spend so much time to do it, and I think this is a wonderful thing! Also because they help
research into eye diseases of children.

It's great to be here with all of these people, so that they know the work they do!"

Quote D'Jour - Frida 1984

"ABBA can´t go on like before. If we got back together it could be dramatic and also exciting because we all have evolved as individuals and grown stronger during the past two years we have been apart."

Quote D'Jour - Agnetha 1967

"Some weeks later a guy called me and said that he was Little Gerhard. He asked me if I wanted to record an album. I was almost sure that someone from my band was joking and I said that I did not believe him. I wanted to have an evidence. He said: If I send back the demo and write best greetings to you, do you believe me then?"

Quote D'Jour - Bjorn 1977

PhotobucketI was listening to the radio in my apartment, but without paying much attention to it. Then the crystal clear little voice of a singer got through to me. I’m not into all that sentimental stuff but there was something about that voice, and I didn’t even know Agnetha. I couldn’t even imagine how she would look like. But already then I knew that this voice had to belong to someone who was fragile, delicate and sweet. In my imagination – and that’s bizarre – Agnetha looked exactly as she looked like in reality. Several months later, a cute blonde walked up to me in a television studio and she introduced herself, but I knew immediately – even before she had said her name – that it had to be Agnetha. I had to catch my breath.
