Andersson och orgeln med 9000 pipor" (Benny Andersson and the organ with
9000 pipes) is available to view on the SVT site.
"Benny Andersson and the organ with 9000 pipes" is the name of the SVT programme about the Piteå 'super organ' which Benny and Orsa spelmän helped inaugurate back in October last year.
SVT: The world's most modern organ is three storeys high and built of natural materials such as steel, wood and reindeer skin. It stands in Piteå and was inaugurated in October 2012. Here we are following the advent of this gigantic music machine including the inaugural celebration along with Benny Andersson and Orsa spelmän. Also featured are the Music School Chamber Choir under the direction of Erik Westberg, and master organist Gunnar Idenstam.
The show will be broadcast on SVT2 at 2000 on Saturday 19 January.
